The agnosphere Fact Checker is fact-checking software for professional reports: it splits a report into its individual claims and checks each one against the source the report cites and against the open web.

Where your document is

Uploaded documents, everything derived from them, the application database, and the compute that runs a review are in the EU. No browser can read a stored document: access is server-side only and scoped to your organization.

Who processes it

To review a document, its extracted text and page images go to the AI model providers we route to. We use every one of them on paid business terms, under which they do not use submitted data to train or improve their models. Search queries derived from the claims, and the addresses of the sources your report cites, go to web search and page retrieval providers.

Not every model can be served from an EU endpoint. Some providers run the relevant models only from a global endpoint, so prompts and page extracts may be processed outside the EU, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified and otherwise under Standard Contractual Clauses. The named list of providers, their locations, and the safeguard that applies to each is part of the data processing agreement we conclude with every contracting organization.

How long we keep it

Documents and everything derived from them are kept for as long as your organization’s subscription runs. You can delete any review, with its document and every artefact, at any time from the platform; deletion is immediate and irreversible. Execution logs are kept for 90 days beyond the subscription, account data for 30 days beyond deletion of the account.

What we never do

  • Use your documents, the claims derived from them, or the findings to train any model or to build our own products.
  • Sell data, or share it outside the categories named in the privacy policy.
  • Publish anything. A review reaches the open internet only if you publish it yourself.
  • Change your document. Corrections are proposed, never applied.

The four rules

How we handle confidential reports, from the first request to the returned document.

  • No document moves automatically. Nothing is checked before you press start, and nothing is shared. You upload inside your own workspace, or over a private route we arrange with you.
  • Make data use explicit. For each use case, we agree on access rules, data flows, retention, and model providers.
  • Keep evidence and open questions visible. When decisions depend on sources, users can inspect the evidence and see what remains unresolved.
  • Keep responsibility with people. Your team decides what can be automated, what must be reviewed, and who signs off.
